ben blinked a few times as he looked at the other man. it had been someone he'd once idolised - well, one version of him. "you're anakin skywalker," he wondered if his mom knew he was here or not.

"what?" ben asked, looking up from his phone. he hadn't been paying attention to what was going on around him, too busy scrolling through random stuff on his phone. seeing his brother standing there caught him off guard slightly, but he quickly passed it off as him not paying attention.

"mom," ben didn't know if his mother knew about anakin being in the city or not, so he decided that she should hear it from a family member first. "vader is here, well anakin, I suppose, I don't know if you've seen him yet or not but I wanted you to know, rather than just bumping into him."

"please don't tell me you're going to fall again," ben wasn't sure what was going through his mother's head right now, but he could see the look on her face - the same one she'd had before, that he'd had before. "things will come out alright in the end - dad won't forget for too long, he loves you too much to stay away," or at least ben hoped that would be the case.
