The four members of Eon’s squad all have different dynamics with each other, mostly deriving from how each met each other.

Eon and Maltruant were the first to meet, during when Eon had apparently been the apprentice of Paradox. Their dynamic is quite bitter and toxic, with Maltruant always trying to manipulate Eon and play with his emotions, while Eon often threatens him to keep in line. It’s clear that the two don’t enjoy working together, often disagree on how to manage things, and yet need each other to get what they both want.

Subdora was the next member to join, having been saved by Eon. Similar to the Prime timeline, her planet was at war during a revolution, meaning Subdora had been living quite a harsh lifestyle. One day a Contemelia Ship showed up above her planet, void of any life on it like other ships of theirs, and she met Eon on it when he was searching through it, while she was hoping to find any escape pods on it that would provide escape. One thing led to another, with Subdora helping Eon find what he needed, and Eon saving her life from another member of her species. Next thing Subdora knew, she decided to join Eon on his mission. Subdora cares a lot about Eon, and he seems to have a soft spot for her, perhaps even seeing her as a proper friend.

Exo-Skull was the last to join, and was found by Maltruant. They met in some old Contemelia ruins, where Exo-Skull had been hired, among others, to search the place for valuables. The others betrayed Exo-Skull, left him to die, before Maltruant found him. Seeing how angry Exo-Skull was, Maltruant used his emotions to trick him into helping him, eventually finding what he needed. Afterwards, Maltruant realised that Exo-Skull could be useful, and ended up letting him join their crew. Now Maltruant likes to test, upgrade and experiment with Exo-Skull’s cybernetic parts. Exo-Skull does seem to take issue with Maltruant, but stays quiet because he feels like he owes the man. Along with not wanting to see what could happen if he were to anger him.

Subdora and Exo-Skull admittedly didn’t know what to think of each other at first, in fact they kind of bickered with each other, in a dramatic way. However, while alone on a mission, caught up in some danger, the two began working together properly, saving each other, and next thing anyone knew, they started going out. They’re a very romantic couple, though go about it in a soap opera way. But they enjoy their relationship, and that’s all that matters to them.

When it comes to Subdora and Maltruant, she can easily say she doesn’t like the man, and the way he speaks towards Eon and Exo-Skull. She has faith Eon can stand up for himself, keeping an eye on Maltruant, and that Exo-Skull can handle himself too. But Maltruant has used his manipulation on Subdora many times before, making her doubt herself when around him. She mostly tries to keep her distance.

Exo-Skull and Eon have a civil dynamic, and are nice to one another, but Exo-Skull actually is kind of scared of Eon, intimidated by him. Similar to Maltruant, he stays quiet around Eon unless spoken too, and does what is asked of him. Sometimes though, Exo-Skull will offer a quiet word of advice when Eon is stressed out or worried, and while Eon doesn’t reply, he does seem to listen.
