So the wiki says thats Zs'Skayr finds his nieces annoying, but to ME, he loves them very much. In my heart, he was best friends with a sibling who died before Zs'Skayr was crowned High Ecto-Lord. I like to imagine his sibling was the one destined to rule, but their death prompted Zs'Skayr's coronation instead. He took in their daughters and cares for them like they're his own. ALSO, the people of the Anur system revere him as their sovereign. Kuphulu, Crüjo, and Viktor made it pretty obvious, plus the fact that even though he had Lord Transyl control the citizens, they didn't exactly seem to care. ALSO also, at the least, the other Ectonurites seem totally chill with doing whatever he asks of them
Psyphon's species is, to my knowledge, unknown, but IIIIIII like to think he has leucism, like a white tiger, for example. The suit he wears regulates his internal organs and body chmistry a la Darth Vader. I do like the headcanon that his planet was one of the ten that Vilgax conquered in AF/UA, buuuuut I think I prefer him as a voluntary participant. He doesn't like talking about his homeworld which, in my mind, is far removed from the rest of the galaxy. I also like to ship him with Vilgax :3
AND SPEAKING OF. I forgot to mention earlier about that I think Vilgax's cybernetics are cultural, since Myax also has them in the og series. I know the 2016 reboot has some lore about the Vilgaxians but eeehhhh idk. I prefer to think that after a certain stage in their young adult stage they undergo a procedure that fuses their bodies to their armor that's pressurized, kinda like how a blobfish turns to mush when you take it out of deep water. I mean Vilgax doesn't really consistently have the armor and his people don't have it in AF/UA but Sindy don't care!!!
I do also love Fistina. I'm SO glad she got to be a Plumber, she was one of my favorite crime gang characters. She's so cute I adore her. Dr. Animo also rules. He's hilarious, also voiced by the guy who plays Crispin in Psychonauts ♡ tbh I don't have many headcanons for characters I'm not fixated on. Although I do headcanon that every single Forever Knight got a huge wedgie for being collective losers all the time. They are SO unbearably lame. Mike Morningstar too he deserves an atomic wedgie
Sorta kinda! Vilgax is already written pretty solidly and any headcanons I might've had are addressed in the shows BUT
I do headcanon him to be a lot more competent than he's shown. As much as I liked aspects of AF/UA and Omniverse Vilgax, especially his love for his people/homeworld, he's always been kind of a joke villain after the original series OR stripped of personality. There should be a balance between his warmongering single-minded obsession with the Omnitrix and his personality
Now I KNOW Ben 10 is for kids, the main character is a kid, I know that it's Ben's unpredictable creativity AND his team that beats Vilgax every time. I know this
But
I like Vilgax. I think he deserves to be portrayed as both a wrathful warmonger WITHOUT him being totally rash all the time. Which can also be compelling, but he just doesn't SEEM like the type to rush in without a plan or without his own brand of creativity. Like in Alien Force (I think??) when he freed Zs'Skayr and SOMEHOW didn't think Zs'Skayr would instantly betray him, which led to having to ask Ben for help. Like. That is a massive blunder I just don't think Vilgax wouldn't have prepared for. Like. That's Zs'Skayr's entire thing
But a lot of the story is pretty contrived. I digress! This post is too long LGHSJDBKSHD
It's REALLY hard to choose a Ben 10 character to redesign because they're all already REALLY good. Like, the shows influenced my art style and design tastes as I grew up. I think it would be fun to take one of my OCs and give her an Omnitrix just so I can make up alien forms for her. And her name conveniently rhymes with ten FKSHKDBSJS
Like, Psyphon is definitely next but his Omniverse design is SO good I don't think there's anything I would change. Vilgax needed it imo but his design changes the most drastically every other show anyway so that's just in character for him
But like I adore nasty little second in command losers who are either hopeless for their boss or hopeless in general SSSOOOOOO much (Starscream, Crispin, Commander Peepers, etc.) Psyphon is easily my favorite Ben 10 character next to Zs'Skayr. He's so sucks 😍
So I am okay now! I just can't be in any hotels in my area. There is one down the road from me that takes pets! But I need a Lyft to go there until I get a call from the shelter.
Right now I'm sleeping outside and it's hard for me to sleep because of everything. I'm tired and anxious because noises make me jump.
