Speaking of symbolism/parallelism, Stabler stabbed that undertaker for no good reason at all other than just to do it. He was heavily injured so it's not like he could've badly hurt someone. I feel like him having Ben bury that man is kinda foreshadowing.
You’re probably right.
When the roles are reversed, Pullman = Rosalee, Undertaker = Ben. Undertaker was no harm, Ben was no harm. Pullman and Rosalee both killed them pointlessly. The only difference is that if Rosalee was in her right mind, she would have never killed Ben unless she had to. Pullman is just the actual worst.
And Ben burying that man? Might as well have been digging his own grave. I like that Pullman was the one to order him to do it too, because ultimately, who is responsible for Ben’s death? Rosalee who stabbed him while under the influence? Or his father who dragged him into this dangerous lifestyle in the first place?
