A childhood headcanon. Mrs Potts taught him how to cook when he was ten.

What do you think their first word was? Book

How do you think they were as a kid? (Like, were they shy, noisy, wild, etc). Probably shy. Adam is his dad after all

The most random ship you've seen people have with them. I don’t think I’ve seen a really random ship for him

A weird headcanon. He’s got a romantic interest in dragons ever since he watched Shrek when he was in 13

When do you think they were at their happiest? When he’s with Mal

When do you think they were at their lowest? When he was with Audrey.

Future headcanon. He’ll be made a saint when he passes on

What do you think is a secret they have that they never told anyone? Possibly that Doug was his first crush.

When do you think they acted the most ooc. Hmmmm. I can’t think of anything. He’s written pretty evenly. Even his less together moments have their reasons.

When do you think they were being "themselves" the most? When he’s with Mal and the other Vks.

If they could meet a character from another show/movie/etc, who would be the most fun for them to meet? Sam Winchester or superman

The most unnecessary thing they ever did? Each and every single hip movement he did in the musical numbers. It was completely unnecessary but oh so welcome.

How do you think they would be as a parent? He’d be the pushover parent. But he’d be able to bring down the hammer of necessary.

The funniest scene they had? Riding the horse mascot during “did I mention”. That was impressive and hilarious.

Why do I like them? He’s easily the best character in the franchise. Both in looks and personality.

Why I don’t? Can’t think of anything

Favorite episode (scene if movie)? Normal brain answer. When he calls out his dad and his scenes with Mal. Base instinct answer. All his hip movements during the dance numbers.

Favorite season/movie? Film one because that’s when he had the most screentime.

Favorite line? It’s a toss up between “yeah. Mom won’t let him on the couch” and “it’s up to us dad”.

Favorite outfit? Either his post beast dishevelled look with the undone motor cross outfit, soaked hair and facial hair. Or. The dark blue suit with the elbow patches. Both are A++ looks in my book

OTP? Bal all the way

Brotp? Doug.

Head Canon? Was taught how to play chess by Doug.

Unpopular opinion? He, along with his scrub, deserved so much better than what they got from franchise and fandom in terms of screentime, advertising and promotional material.

A wish? I wish he and Mal had duets together.

An oh-god-please-dont-ever-happen? It didn’t happen but in the run up to d3 I was antsy about them breaking bal up because of Mal’s actresses verbal diarrhoea.

Himbo scale

Gil. Good looking. Kind. Sweet. Not very bright. Definitely a himbo

Ben. Good looking. Kind. Sweet. Is rather smart. But never got a chance to show it past the second movie so he is a himbo. But only just

Jay. Good looking. Can be kind and sweet. He’s impulsive. But also shows emotional maturity from time to time. And was also the first to question the plan. So sort of a himbo. Sort of not

Doug. DEFINITELY good looking. Kind and sweet. But he’s the only one with any semblance of brain cells. So not a himbo

Carlos. Adorable. Kind. Sweet. Extremely smart. So not a himbo

Hades. Hot. Brash. Only nice to his daughter really. So not a himbo

Chad. Appearance is a matter of opinion. He’s a dickhead. And possibly regicidal. So not a himbo

Harry. Appearance is a matter of opinion. The only one he respects is Uma. Hes hyper violent And he’s malignantly stupid instead of benignly stupid. So not a himbo

Little forlorn right now

I’ve just realised that if Mitchell Hope is ever in another role that requires him to have a face full of fuzz the result will probably not be as magnificent as the fuzz Ben had when he was debeasted in descendants three. I’ll still obsess over it, because, come on, it’s Mitchell Hope, how could I not, but it most likely won’t be the same

There are only four thirst worthy white men in descendants. And none of them are named Harry or Chad. Not sure if this is a hot take. But it’s the truth and it’s how I feel

Ben and Doug/Mitchell and Zachary being basically ignored by ads and interviews when they are the main male lead and secondary romantic lead respectively

Ben only being shirtless once (yes he got soaked through thrice. But. I needed. The torso.

Doug never wearing T-shirt’s (I saw the picture of Zachary shirtless on the horse and it opened my third eye)

All the damned auto tune and needless rapping

Mitchell doesn’t get enough credit

Anyone can slap on some eyeliner and act like a perverted watered down version the joker. But Mitchell not only had to speak in a different accent then his own while making it convincing and making it blend in with everyone else’s he had to sing and rap in that accent as well. He had prosthesis stick on his face and hands and a tail stuck on his ass for beast Ben. And I’m thankful for it. But makeup chairs fit something that extensive can not be comfy. And again. HE WAS THE FUCKING GODDAMN MALE LEAD!!!! And what does he get. The Ron treatment. Left out of gifsets. Blamed. And basically forgotten. All because some other guy is deemed more attractive or a more interesting character then the male lead. And no. I’m never gonna shut up about it.
