          THERE  IS  DISAPPOINTMENT  ,  at  first  ,  seeing  emptied  cup  when  they  had  prepared  for  crimson  treat  .  RUDE  as  it  may  be  ,  it  fades  quickly  ,  attention  shifting  between  dolls  accompanying  their  table  .  "  I'm  surprised  you  invited  me  over  ...  "  More  surprised  I  showed  up  ,  Cassandra  thinks  —  but  they  know  the  reason  .  There's  never  been  any  ill  feelings  towards  Donna  or  Angie  ;  quite  the  opposite  ,  really  .  They  feel  almost  ...  sad  for  Donna  ,  though  Cassandra  would  never  admit  such  .  A  loneliness  they  have  not  had  to  experience  since  their  rebirth  into  the  Dimitrescu  family  —  so  overwhelming  Donna  feels  the  need  to  infect  the  dolls  .  

          MAYBE  CASSANDRA  DOESN'T  WANT  her  to  feel  alone  any  more  .  They  are  still  a  family  ,  after  all  ...  ugh  ,  Daniela  will  never  let  them  hear  the  end  of  this  ...  "  Don't  tell  me  ;  did  you  even  get  some  fresh  blood  for  me  ?  "

› ; .             FINGERS TRACE wooden carvings — intricate in design with the passion of carnal cravings whittled into each groove of the doll. it made the village born mother docile in manner, letting her pinkie nail curve along the creation's spine as she held its naked form in her cradled hands. the scent of rich wood from donna's craft loomed about the product, glassy eyes set like rubies in a petite skull. cut calciums clack against the back of the child, lowered against her lap as eyes transfix forward onto angie, she who hovered before miranda the whole ordeal.

             though a part of her envied donna for her ability to resurrect the dead through a more floral means &&. metaphorical sense, miranda couldn't help but feel flattered by the commission now sat in her lap. the doll was to be of a muffet girl, albeit undressed since her crafting had not been completed. to think donna trusted her this much, to place an unborn within the mother's grip.

𝐢𝐭’𝐬  𝐚  𝐬𝐨𝐫𝐭  𝐨𝐟  𝐪𝐮𝐢𝐞𝐭  fascination,    with  the  little  porcelein  things.    he  stares  down  at  a  doll just  beside  him    &   nearly  reaches  over  for  it,    sweeping  over  the  little  details.   there  are  more  around  him,    by  him;   breathing  down  his  neck    &   with  eyes  that  always  seem  to  always  follow  him.   here,    in  this  little  room,    vincent  feels  just  at  ease  as  he  does  in  his  own  home.    (    moreso,    really;    that  place  had  always  really  hated  him,    hasn’t  it?    )

“   the  tea  is  wonderful,    by  the  way.    ”    the  thought  alone  makes  him  smile  a  bit.    “   thank  you.   ”
