110 years ago today, Teddy Roosevelt established Crater Lake National Park. Big wild places - like Crater Lake - and wildlife go hand in hand. Wildlife like gray wolves need big wild places for the critical habitat they provide. And without wildlife like wolves, our big wild places just don't quite hold the same allure.
Oregon Wild is working to permanently protect 500,000 acres around Crater Lake. And we're standing up for Oregon's wolves - like our most famous wolf - Journey - who toured Crater Lake during his epic travels.
