Bendagram opened for Peter Murphy in Helsinki on 12th June. This electronic duo had a really interesting 'New Order meets Massive Attack meets experimental and minimal' groove going on. ~neopatra
Bendagram: Windows
Bendagram is a duo from Helsinki that has been hyped way before they have had a chance to release anything.
Now they've released this music video for the song Windows, but before that they just had one song called Headlights up on soundcloud (and at this moment not even that is available). But considering they formed their dark electronic duo in 2010 their rise to hype is pretty fast.
But they have played live and much of the talk has started from there. I've had the honor of seeing them once and yes, it was pretty cool. The two guys, Lauri Solin and Pekka Tynkkynen, were very concentrated on their instruments of which one looked VERY home-made (wish I had a picture). It was an introvert show but very intense and assuring.
Their debut album is due this year so let's keep our eyes open. This could be quite exciting.
