Bend Desk. Media Computing Group.

Bend desk est un prototype réalisé par le Media Computing Group. Il s'agit d'une surface média combinant le bureau horizontal et l'ordinateur vertical en un seul objet. Bend desk est une vision pour l'avenir d'un espace de travail permettant une interaction continue entre les deux zones. La technologie multi-touch permet de gérer aisément le contenu numérique sur son espace de travail par les gestes et la manipulation.

Bend desk et la technologie multi-touch semble être un objet qui aurait tout à fait sa place dans un futur proche. La facilité d'emploi et de manipulation combiné au design de ce "bureau numérique" font de cet objet un élément pouvant avoir sa place dans les bureaux de demain.

BendDesk

The BendDesk prototype sets out to merge the two separate vertical and horizontal desktop work areas into one enabling “continuous interaction between both areas”. The multi-touch environment allows the user to interact with the entire surface using direct manipulation and multi-touch gestures and can be used to display a wide array of digital content such as documents, photos, videos etc.

BendDesk is a curved interactive surface that combines a horizontal and vertical multi-touch surface seamlessly with a curve. It's still a research project though.
