“I obviously think I’m laying here taking in the sights.” Even in a bit of pain Tobias was going to be defensive and sarcastic. He took inventory of himself and made sure his legs still worked by wiggling his toes. After he was certain of that he moved his fingers.
At least everything was in working order. “They real question is, what do you think you’re doing, yelling at me for simply trying to take a nap in nature? It’s that not allowed anymore.” He slowly stood and slung the bag over his shoulder s he started to walk off, hoping his nonsense would be enough to get him out of the area with what he wanted.
It wasn’t. Her eyes were locked on her bag and she felt her Semblance take hold of her, and she rushed with her enhanced speed, coming to a stop in front of him. “Ooh, no. I’m not yelling at you for trying to take a nap in nature like I was.” Her bright eyes glittered angrily at him. “I’m yelling at you because you’re taking my bag.”
One of her hands rest at her hip, her fingers tightening on the handle of one of her tonfa. “Give it back and anything else you took and I won’t beat you senseless.”
There were things in there that she could never replace -- a couple of pictures of her sister, an old, nearly burnt picture of Varou, and a few mementos from happier times. This punk wasn’t going to take them from her. Not without a fight.
