Bene Elohim

Originally, Bene Elohim meant "sons of God," and was the term used to describe angels in the Old Testament.  Gradually, this term came to mean a choir of angels who sing the praises of God twenty-four hours a day.  This choir is listed in the hierarchy of angels of Moses Maimonides and the Zohar.  The Bene Elohim have been equated with both the Thrones and the Archangels.  Some authorities consider them to be Grigori.
