☪ five times our muses almost hold hands, and the one time they do.

The Medic just listening to Kaz talk. He was always the silent type, just enjoyed the sound of other’s voice. As Medic listened, his hand slowly wandered towards Kaz’s, subconsciously. But he stopped himself before anything happened.

The second time was when, reborn as someone else, he found Kaz in enemy outpost. Seeing him, he wanted to firmly squeeze his friend’s remaining hand... but there was no time to waste. They had to go. Fast.

Venom saw him struggling, using just one hand. He already reached his own to guide the subcommander, but he’ve heard “No, it’s fine, I got this.” so he didn’t interfere. Kept thinking about this later... what would happened if he did?

Later he sighed, touching the empty sleeve of Kaz’s jacket, sliding the fingers of cybernetic hand down towards the cuff. Oh, how he wished he could touch his hand now, how he wished nothing bad ever happened to him...

But finally it was Kaz who held Venom’s hand. Helped him aim the shotgun, so they both could get the justice they both deserved.

Snake looked at him and without saying anything, offered Kaz a hand. It was up to him to take it or reject it.

He just wanted Kaz to know that he’s ready to help anytime.
