Ben and Mason hadn’t always been close. His brother was the golden child and he just wasn’t. By the time Mason met Riley, he’d long grown past the rivalry he’d had with his brother. And when he found out his brother and almost sister-in-law were expecting a baby, he was nothing but happy for them. Excited to be the most awesome uncle in the world.
“Riley?” Ben called as he let himself into the house his brother shared with his fiance. Technically the key he’d used was for emergencies. But really, he was family. “Hey...You home?”
He’d been working on little things for his brother’s child for months, but he’d challenged himself to build a cradle and had finally finished.
