Benji can lie! He usually doesn’t, because he’s Benji, but hybrids are weird and he’s more wolf than fae on most fronts, so lying’s not an issue for him.

📂 Benji

Benji won’t be able to stop blushing if you give him flowers.
I think it’s a long time before Kamilah really thinks about seeking out her brother. Like Jasper and Callie have both probably lived and died before she really and truly thinks about it, because they’re both immortal and there’s no rush. She wants to be sure that meeting him is what she really wants to do before she tries.
In the small handful of verses where Jasper is still alive when Simone gets Callie, the two actually get along fairly well?? She didn’t need a whole lot of help with homework, but she’d always go to him with math when she did. They also have similarly dark senses of humor and when they start joking around together, Simone and Benji are usually at least a little uncomfy with how morbid they are.
Mother’s Day is one of those ridiculously rare occasions where Jasper is actually something-resembling-nice to Benji. The three of them get together and go do something that Simone enjoys. They’d cook for her, but she doesn’t need to eat, and there’s little point in buying her something when she can afford anything she’d ever need or want, so they do something with her and it’s a happy family outing.
She never asked them to start doing this, they just did and it makes her really really happy.
Clothing
Simone and Jasper both wear a lot of button-ups and it honestly might be a habit he subconsciously picked up from her. She tends to wear loose fitting, solid colored ones. Jasper’s are mostly plaid patterned flannel.
Benji favors lightweight, loose t-shirts and baggy sweaters. While on the other end, Izzy wears a lot of shirts that are too small, occasionally paired with a button up but usually just the shirt. Izzy would happily walk around naked and he tends to avoid too many layers.
Scents
Benji, Jasper, and Simone all have heightened senses and different magical species have very distinct smells.
Werewolves tend to smell very earthy and woodsy, with a little hint of dog, unsurprisingly. Magic-- think witches and spells and the like-- smells spicy, but also a little sweet. It’s got a citrusy feel to it. Benji’s scent is an odd mix of the two and he’s never really met anyone with the quite the right second scent, though he knows what an average wolf smells like.
Jasper usually smells earthy and woodsy, similar to a werewolf, but often with a hint of cat or bird in it. The slight hint of dog is there, too, because those are the things he shifts into the most. Not all shapeshifters smell like animals. There’s also slight bit of something close to hot pepper in his scent.
Simone smells like death in a way that would be unpleasant if they boys weren’t used to it by now. She doesn’t smell like dying, it’s not old people smell so much as just cold? It’s a weird word to apply to scent, but she does smell cold and a little more unnatural than either of the boys, but it doesn’t bother them. Sometimes she smells like old books, but that’s not so much a vampire thing as it is a Simone thing.
