This was back in December 2024—one of the last times I got to see her. She was already showing signs of decline, but she was spending time with the kids, which brought some sweet and funny moments. We got to open a few gifts—some she had picked out for them, some I had—and I’m grateful for that time together. I just want to hold onto as much of her memory as I can. I don’t know when I’ll see her again, but I hope things are better when I do. And now, here we are—December 2025.
