lol, I’m sorry to the anon that my attempt was so awful they had to cry like dawson :< but good to see you were able to make the terrain look a lot better!
Heh, well, what I’m doing isn’t perfect, either. Like, there’s a big difference between how the on-lot and neighborhood-view version of a road piece looks, which is very obvious when a lot is loaded. I could fix the neighborhood-view textures so that they match the lot-view version...but then it looks really odd in neighborhood view compared to the rest of the terrain. Soooooo, it’s a half-assed, “damned if you do, damned if you don’t” sort of thing all around, but hopefully it’ll work for the anon’s purposes.
This is pretty much why I don’t use the Maxis roads and greatly prefer CuriousB’s roads, with the overlays for on-lot view. Especially because those road overlays are very useful for creating fake roads when I place lots off the real roads. :)

doesn't pooklet have a makeup kit that was revamped to work nicer with the darker skintones? i am not sure it includes a lot of blush options though you could check thru their downloads for something else that might work for you. or maybe jessi-dot@dreamwith

I suppose so lol! Before Scooter, I had a cat who lived to be fifteen (had him since I was eight) and sometimes I think I’m just remembering what it was like to live with him towards his later years. Scooter is only three so he’s definitely a lot more energetic than I remember my old man cat being!

same here. and I have two of them. while one finds it especially cozy to cuddle on the keyboard or the mouse the other one screams at me for not constantly giving her attention (and candies).
I’m glad I’m not alone! I try to tell people at work about how much of a handful he can be and they think I’m exaggerating. Sometimes I sneak quietly over to my desk to avoid the pestering.

It was a plaid shirt by Mork! I remembered one that I used to have in my game before I redid my downloads folder and thought it’d be good for one of my defaults. I knew it was by Mork and I knew Aquilegia made the mesh, but the post had a broken image so I must’ve scrolled right past it. :P Which led me to searching on MTS, GoS, Google, and Pinterest for an hour...

Hahaha, like I don’t have a million other things I should be doing! I’ve just accepted at this point that my hair retextures will never be finished, and neither will my defaults. :D I really just want to play but I need to build a cemetery for Sycamore Cove and I’m kind of balking at all the landscaping that needs to be done....

Awww, thank you! To be honest, I don’t celebrate Halloween too much either (most people around here just use it as an excuse to go out and get drunk, which is fine, but not for me :D). One year I’d like to do an actual Halloween party, where everyone really puts thought and work into their costumes, and we do Halloween things, like bobbing for apples (used to do that as a kid!) or watching a scary movie, or having spooky-themed snacks and drinks. :D (Not a Halloween party where everyone just wears a cat ear headband and calls it a costume, and everyone plays beer pong in the basement... been there, done that. :P)

Awww, Horton! :P Misery is also quite an interesting name. I think I will change my name mod to that one, even though I rarely need to spawn new townies or NPCs anymore. But change can be fun!

I had a dormie named Pharoah! Darcy and Nevena hated him and he ended up getting killed by ghosts. I think it was ghosts at least, because in my game's uni, its usually ghosts.
