Radical Openness DBT Journal Blog
Call me Benny on this blog, please. This blog exists so I can get better as a person. I don’t have any diagnoses, and I’m trying to get through this without a therapist as I don’t have the income for that.
An important part of RO-DBT is the “radical openness” which, for me, means opening up about my flaws, fears, and vulnerabilities to both myself and others. This is going to be my first step in a series of trying to become a better person.
Feel free to send in asks, but I am in no way claiming to be a professional. Though, if you do send in an ask, please don’t just use as an invitation to vent to me. This blog is mainly a space for me to focus on figuring myself out. I wish I could help everyone in the world, but I can’t. Please vent somewhere else <3
I will add trigger warnings to any entries that may cover subjects such as SA, abuse, stalking, etc.
Links to the resources I plan to use will be included below. (Yes, I have seen the discourse surrounding Quiet BPD. I’m not using this diagnostically, but it matches very closely with my experience. It was my touchstone towards figuring out when I need to address.)
Having Quiet BPD means you 'act in'. You may not have frequent anger outbursts, but you internalise your painful emotions and struggles.
Radically Open
