31 days of witches: Bensiabel, the witch's son

I’m super curious, what are your headcanons about Ginerva??
Well pretty much what I have is what I put in the post about her. She's got the fun sassiness of Gothel but without the manipulation and narcissism.
She's a good mom to Bensiabel and tries to direct his enthusiam for magic into more constructive avenues as he tends to go overboard.
She's respected in her community and even if the townspeople are a little wary of her power they also consider her one of their own and basically she's like the fun resident cryptid.
She's definitely able to help Cassandra find herself more, as she knows the trauma of being abandoned and how Gothel messed with both their heads, so she's been in Cassandra's shoes but also has the benefit of being several years ahead, knowing that life goes on and has new opportunities and chances to become your own person outside of your past.
(And in the Cassandra spin off idea I had where Ginerva would be introduced, she'd definitely be rooting for Cassandra to make a move and tell Maleen how she feels)

More Prunella/Bensiabel, because it's been a while since I posted art of them here.
This is my concept for an obscure Italian fairytale. The main gist of the story is the same. But I added some tweaks to make it more interesting.
Someday, I'm hoping to write it out. (My pile of to-dos is insanely long.)
But in the meantime, enjoy!
Years ago, I drew concept art for how I would adapt the Italian fairytale, Prunella, in a Disney-esque style. Recently, I got inspired to draw some new art of the characters.
I kept some aspects of the story the same, but changed it a bit on certain things. One of my biggest changes was in Bensiabel, the witch's son. I made him resemble his mother and made him mute.
So here are the following images, in order:
Prunella being threatened after being captured by the witch, Marcella.
Bensiabel trying to signal to Prunella that he can help her with one of the witch's impossible tasks that Prunella is supposed to complete. In this case, it's filling a basket with water. Prunella thinks he's trying to trick her, so she's scared of him.
Bensiabel using Italian sign language to say "te amo/I love you" to Prunella. I'm not fluent in sign language of any kind. I only know a few signs I use with my baby. But I found it online. So yay for that!

Ah sadly no as we already have Rapunzel but! I did include a reference to it with Cassandra’s nephew Bensiabel having a thing with one of Rapunzel’s daughters in my Canon Descendants Rapunzel story idea:
