It's been a while since I did a Tumblr exclusive. And I felt like finishing one of the concept sketches of Tangled.
HOT TAKE: Bastion is way better than Flynn!
Also, the concept idea was so much better in my opinion. Bastion was a thief, but he genuinely hated it and wanted to become good. He did it to survive out of necessity. And Rapunzel had trauma and fear about trying to leave her tower, and she used painting to cope with her loneliness.
Rapunzel was also a bit more feral and could speak very little, due to her isolation and trauma. Bastion would help her speak more and be free.
The darker ideas would've been a lot cooler. Just saying.
