it's really interesting to me that everyone seems to be interpreting Vox's "Partners...IN BUSINESS!" as Val not wanting to be partners with Vox. if anything I'd go the other way! that read to me like a man who shut down talks of an actual committed relationship & is now trying to cover his ass about it. Val seems like he'd def be interested in an actual relationship with Vox (and in my paranoid delusions, a ring on it), but Mr. "Our Brand Is Perfection" definitely seems like he'd be more reticent.

B4 StaticMoth break-up tonight I just want everyone to know that if they ever got for real married it would maybe be the tackiest event ever known to exist. Val's ring has a stone so big you could use it to club someone over the head, the colors are neon blue and bright pink (and zebra stripes), everything's covered in hearts, the whole thing is televised and chock-full of ads, VoxTech employees have to attend but are NOT paid for their time, Val is actively smoking the whole time, and they nearly have an screaming argument over his refusal to eat any of the cake. the ceremony ends with a public consumation of the marriage which is then later available for pay-per-view. never at any point is the reason for any of this mentioned.

also, I get why people think Charlie/Vaggie is boring but Charlie basically doing the fuckboy lipbite and tucking her hair behind her ear immediately after finding an extremely injured woman literally in an alley won me over so hard. what more could you want.
