This man is yearning. He is pining. He is keening. He has spent so many games (and spin-offs!) going feral over this twunk and he is putting all his cards on the fucking table because if the writers aren't going to let him propose then he'll just do it himself! That man is thirsty. That man is burning. He is coming for those censors and he's going to do to them what he did to Aerith and Galeem. The gloves are off. This is the last game. It's now or never. And by Nomura, those wedding bells are ringing. Eleventh hour. Dawn of the final day.
Good luck, bro. Sucks about that whole killing pookie's mom/village thing. Oh well. Treat yourself, bestie.
I think Sephiroth should guide Zack or Cloud through a meditation exercise. My man doesn’t even have to know anything about the technique; he can just read from a script and let his voice do everything else.
A nice wholesome twist on Sephiroth giving orders, idk x3c
I was so frickin’ determined to finish this tonight LMAO I never meet my own deadlines 😂😂💙
Happy bday, Clouddd!!! 💛💛
An Archive of Our Own, a project of the Organization for Transformative Works
Summary: Zack had permission to tell one (1) of his friends that it was Cloud’s birthday.
Cloud didn’t specify which friend it had to be.
People are so mean to Brian Lockhart. Like...I barely think about him half the time. And yeah, he was cruel to Cloud when the latter was a child.
But also??? He just lost his wife???? And was clearly lashing out after nearly losing his daughter in the same time frame??? Obviously him blaming Cloud was wrong. But is that to say that grieving people can't act irrationally? That they can't panic and jump to angry conclusions out of emotional distress? Are the very foundational flaws that make us human simply not allowed to exist?
We know that Brian disliked Cloud after this incident. But there's nothing else shown to suggest he was a reoccurring bully in Cloud's life. He wasn't conspiring against him. He was pissed because he thought this kid nearly got his daughter killed (which the other kids lied about btw). The only other time we see Brian, he's worried about Tifa's safety in leading the reactor expedition. And pretty rightfully so imo considering what happened to him and Tifa less than a decade prior. He loves his daughter. He doesn't want to lose her like he lost his wife. Because he's a good dad. A flawed dad, but ultimately a good dad.
And there are people out there who say that he DESERVED to be killed by Sephiroth. Like... what the fuck.
Reminder: Sephiroth killed an entire village of innocent men, women, and children. And then tried to nuke the planet with a meteor. And then infected the world with the plague for funsies. And enjoyed every minute of it.
Brian verbally lashed out at a child because he was worried about losing his daughter.
Yeah.
