11. Do you have siblings, and what are their names? Three...But the 2 older ones want nothing to do with Me, so 1(a younger sister)

13. What kind of student are you? I was the weird punk/goth/nerd/gay kid That everyone thought was gay and a satanist(which I was)

14. Do you even like school? I hated it for the most part(the last one I went to was a nightmare)

15. What are your favourite school subjects? Social studies/history and science  

16. What are your favourite shows? DS9, Breaking Bad, The Walking Dead, Babylon 5, King of the Hill, Better Call Saul, Farscape, and Game of Thrones

17. What are your favourite movies? Long ass list, so I’ll just say Mad Max: Fury Road and LOTR

Hello! I was wondering if any of you has gone through some kind of family/friends inquisition for worshipping Loki and if you have any tips to deal with it. I hate when people say "you just really like the avengers, that's not a real thing!".

That’s kind of part of the package when it comes to worshiping Loki, unfortunately.  Perhaps it's to be expected for the worshipers of a god of outsiders, but negative comments certainly can be frustrating.

First of all, remember that you’re not obligated to be open about your faith with absolutely everyone. If telling your family would cause them great emotional pain or leave you out on the street, then perhaps it’s more ethical not to. If telling your coworkers could harm your career or cost you your job, then ask yourself if letting them know is really worth it to you. Back in the day, it was really common for people to pretend to “convert” to Christianity for free stuff only to go home and maintain their heathen beliefs, so I find the notion that we dishonor our ancestors by hiding our spirituality when being open could be harmful a little hard to buy into.

As far as dealing with the comments you get from people who do know about your faith, the best you can do, in my opinion, is to try and remain civil. A lot of people who make such comments are just trying to get a rise out of you, so don’t give them the satisfaction. Being informed helps, in the sense that you can counter false claims with fact. Lokavinir has a nice FAQ that responds to a lot of common nokean questions. However, keep in mind that some people are just out to troll you with no interest in learning or changing their own viewpoint. Once you see that’s the case, just bow out of the conversation as gracefully as possible, since continuing to argue is unproductive and not the best thing for your mental health.
