tumblr is awful and yeah i get sad and depressed but why keep going down the road like “well it’s my mental illness i have an excuse to act this way” 

no... you’re not getting the point

depression and other bad thoughts is understandable, but having to throw it down on someone and influence them is very overwhelming

i always try to keep this positive, and yet, every time someone makes a post of “please treat yourself,” people still say “well op, you can’t just TELL me to make myself better because you’re forcing your positive outlooks”.

no, that’s not it. OP wants you to genuinely get better. OP wants you to be happy. They know you can’t get better in a day, and to be like

“um,, well,, op is calling out mentally ill individuals”

No they don’t want you spreading that outlook on kids who can later get out of it. that’s what they want, they just want people to be better so the kids realizing that they are upset won’t have to hole up forever. even if things are bad, please, please, just at least give someone some acknowledgement like, “It will take time. Here’s a few things you can do to calm yourself down” or whatever

Help each other, don’t bring others down, everyone should be supportive for one another

the reason why i ask for a positive circle is coz if i’m depressed forever, i can’t do anything, but with people to motivate me, i know i can do something and i’m grateful for that
