A wise head makes a close mouth, his father told him. Draco should know better. Draco doesn't. "Surely, it's different for you. You don't get bored when you watch the one you love flying." He sneers and it sounds like barking. Draco may, or may not be the most awkward stupid person ever. He feels his cheek flushing with embarasment. Panicking even more, he figures if he's quick enough, it might look like efforts, not- admisson. “Don't worry about it. I’ll adapt.” He says, sprinting away towards the door, and rushing inside, like he's trying to outrun death itself.

Flammagenitus clouds' Pansy is getting clearer and clearer in my mind, but last time attempt didn't do her justice.

The art is deeply inspired by Sloann, an amazing artist. (Go listen to Rome! or Monstrueuse, the whole album)

Writing her from Draco's point of view is HARD, for I can only imagine tenderness mixed with huge disinterest from his part. I strongly believe he is the one who gets her somehow, but completely by accident and not when he intends to. Also, I want to write her complicated, grey, witty and unsufferable. We'll see if I can, though.

Summary: "Nobody comes out of a war “fine.” But four returning Slytherins are determined to fake it anyway, and to prove they’re better, sharper, and still untouchable. They have goals: repair their image, survive Unity Night, and (for Draco) learn to live wandless. They also have problems: a mysterious arsonist on the loose… and feelings they refuse to name, no matter how loudly they burn.

Then, the snatchers brought Harry Potter. “Occlumensy didn’t help me against Potter. It didn’t block what I felt for Potter. Part of that was despair: if Potter was there, then, all hope was lost…” And Draco didn’t remember he had hopes, before meeting Potter eyes again. He occluded it, he figured, and it was now in his throat. Draco couldn't breathe. He hardly remembered he had a body of his own. Without thinking, because it felt imperious, he lied.

Chapter summary :

Draco fights serum, until it cracks him open. The author uses it as an excuse to narrate how Draco lived the war and walked out of there alive - because it's a plot hole, isn't it? Pansy and Draco walk back in their room, alone. Pansy might not be the arsonist.
