What a day y’all!! I got to spend today at the beach with my most favorite beings in the world at the most secret spot (no, I can’t tell you where we were!). Honestly, when Jeremy said “get out of your robe and put clothes on” I was like “ugh babe, I did all the things ALL WEEK and I need today to do laundry and tidy, make lunches etc.” He said, “nope we’re having a family day!” I’m so fucking grateful for this man, for our day today and here’s the lesson I learned that I hope might help you too....If you have a choice between doing some things that will set you up for your week (y’all know I’m a HUGE fan of this) and doing something outside with some really important people at a really important time, SAY YES. We still got home in time to do some prep cooking and to make a delicious dinner and I bet we’ll be in bed by 8:30. Lucy got so have such a spectacular day in the sun with no humans around and I got to sun my bare-ass buns and boobies without a worry in the world. On instinct, I wanted to say no and to do what I normally do on my days off. Instead I said yes and we had SUCH a special day, most notably Lucy had an incredible day and who knows how many of those she has left. I’m humbled, in awe, ecstatic, in love and I’m BACK in my robe lol. This phase of learning that Lucy will be sick for the rest of her life has been so hard. Full circle, just whoa. Sending so much love to my Vixens, snuggle your fur and human babies, say yes, get outside and absorb the bennies.
