The four of us did the video in which people answered the question 'what do you love that you shouldn't?' First off, we want to thank everyone who answered the questions for us - especially the tennis player who came up to Paige and asked if she could be in the video; we do not know her name at the moment, but are hoping to find out. When creating this collaboration piece, it took a lot of discussion. We all had ideas and poems, and tried hard to connect them all in some way. Paige wrote another sonnet as if she was the girl receiving sonnet 130 - this girl did not think it was so romantic! Sarah read shakespeare's poem like it was someone with an addiction. Even though it is bad for you, you can't stop but love it. Alena romanticized the the sonnet. She let the complements follow through to something truly sweet. My interpretation of the sonnet was how ponderous the speaker sounded and how it puzzled him how he could find the woman he loved so rare and yet so plain. We wanted to keep the form of a sonnet, with fourteen lines (including the couplet at the end) having fourteen videos of all those wonderful people and then two videos of Paige and I. Some of you noticed that the question we were asked was 'what do you love?' This was supposed to be the resolution at the end of the poem, something saying that everything was okay. Thanks again to everyone! We loved all of you presentations, it was a really inspiring night and I'm sure everyone felt that! Thank you for being awesome!
