David Bowie at the Arie Crown Theater in Chicago - Isolar II World Tour - April 17th, 1978 by Peter Katsis
David Bowie, “Warszawa”
Ballsy move to go with this tune live on TV. It’s atmospheric and brilliant in its own way, but not what someone would expect to hear live, particularly in this setting. Good on him for confounding expectations.
“Stay”
Either preceded or followed by this classic off Station to Station, funky guitar courtesy of Adrian Belew.
David Bowie in 1979
Lançado em 14 de janeiro de 1977, Low é o 11º álbum de estúdio de David Bowie. Com faixas como “Sound and Vision”, “Be My Wife” e “Speed of Life” no tracklist, o disco marcou o início da chamada Trilogia de Berlim e alcançou a 2ª posição na parada britânica.
David Bowie — "Heroes" on Top of the Pops, 1977
Can we be Bowie fans forever and ever?
— Most of all, I love Bowie's art rock & ambient music. I think a lot of people will agree that «"Heroes"» one of his best albums, but few people remember any other songs except the one with the same name, so I was wondering which songs you like the most from this album.
Which songs from the album do you like the most? (except for "Heroes")
Beauty and the Beast
Joe the Lion
Sons of the Silent Age
Blackout
V-2 Schneider
Sense of Doubt
Moss Garden
Neuköln
The Secret Life of Arabia
I think I could name these three songs as my favorites on the album:
3. «Beauty and the Beast» (so lively and bright, catchy, evokes in me almost the same feelings of evil power as "Heroes", only more danceable)
2. «Blackout» (sounds so heavy and cool, it's just gorgeous)
1. «Sense of Doubt» (hunting, beautifully frightening, superbly disturbing, perfectly working with space)
The album is very underrated, but it's really worth to listen to it
Love to all! 🩶
