Lodger
Record five. I have another early pressing of this on it’s way from a discogs seller.
So I know people could argue that when Bowie made the “Berlin Trilogy” statement he was just doing it to promote and connect Lodger to the other two ground breaking records that he did in 1977 Low and “Heroes”. However I’d argue that the songs on Lodger are solid in their own right and are prelude to Scary Monsters and because of the song Red Money, absolutely belong in the Berlin period and tie in The Idiot and Lust for Life to this period as well. In fact I always consider the Berlin period a five record series not three.
