A year and half have past, all of Fodlan is experiencing an era peace of sort. Even the neighboring country such as Almyra, whom hardly got into skirmishes with the Leicester. However, they're still alert for Cornelia and her mysterious second-in-command, if they planned to come back.
Within that timespan, right after Claude and Byleth's wedding, some of their friends are in a relationships. While only a few gotten marry such as Felix with Annette, also Bernidetta with Ferdinand.
Claude just love surprising his dearest wife, Byleth. Seeing her surprise expression is so cute, then he would shower her with gifts like sweets and kisses.
Byleth along with Bernidetta and Annette, would have get together since they're only ones who gotten marry. They would talk about their husband, and how will they treat them. Sometimes, other of their friends especially Hilda would like to join in just to hear their marriage life.
As of lately, Byleth have been waking up sick in the mornings, noticing a growing bulge, and wasn't sure why. She never gotten so sick that needed to visit Mercedes and Marianne to see what's wrong with her. After some checking, Marianne was the first to tell that she expecting a child. Byleth couldn't belive she's about two months pregnant. She wanted to send in a letter to Claude, but Hilda tell her to keep it a secret so she can surprised him.
Hilda was right. When Claude finally come home from his business trip in Almyra, he was awestruck to see her now pregnant and couldn’t believe he going to be a dad. He even pick up his wife, and spin her around out of pure joy. However, it made feels only her motion sick.
Later on, Byleth won't be the only one to be expecting with a child. Bernidetta and Annette would become pregnant, as well. They even share stories how their husband react to the big news. Ferdinand was so happy that he promise he will be the best father for their child and swear if anybody hurt them, he will protect them no matter what. As for Felix, he actually took her to a private place where he begin to shed a few tears of happiness, and thanks Annette for making him the happiest man alive.
Byleth definitely have the biggest craving for fruits with chocolate. Like the good husband he is, Claude would bring her a tray of fruit with melted chocolate, and would hand feed her.
There been a little competition within the former Golden Deer, Blue Lion, and Black Eagle of who get to be the godparents. Hilda really want to godmother, and Slyvain is doing everything he can to make Felix let him be the godfather of his child.
Claude's parents would sometimes visit them along with Nader and Judith. Despite how intimating that Claude's father, Baha, can be. He is excited for his grandchild along with his wife. They even brought some gifts like Claude's old stuffed wyvern ans deer that should passed down to his child. While Nader and Judith will be there honorary aunt and uncle.
There been times, Annette would fake to fall asleep just to see Felix would sing to their unborn child. She never told this to anyone because it would proably stop him from doing so, and she really want hear him sing.
Whenever Byleth feels...insecure about her body. Claude remind her that she is the most beautiful than any old godess.
When the day finally come, Claude was right beside as Byleth go into labor. Which took an entire night for the first child to be born at dawn. Just when they thought it was over, they were surprise when another baby is born a few minutes later. Claude and Byleth couldn't belive they are now proud parents of twins, a boy and a girl.
