to add on to previous posts doing stuff like that -> starting witch hunts, searching through people’s profiles, ect.. makes the community feel unsafe, which should be the opposite of what should be the goal in an online community. Adults posting adult things in specific adult spaces, tagged properly for these adult spaces isn’t hurting anyone #1 and #2 it’s uncomfortable knowing that your account might be stalked at any time by people that most of the time quite frankly have nothing to do with you purely because of someone you decide to be friends with. It’s gross and invasive tbh and I know I don’t feel comfortable knowing that i could be targeting for something I’m not even involved in.
To the cc’s that let this happen and endorse their mods stalking the profiles of and harassing people that have done nothing wrong in twitch chat, youtube chat, or on public places that are directly related to you: this makes people feel unsafe and eventually it’s gonna cause a lot of long-time fans to get up and leave because they don’t feel comfortable or safe in your community anymore.
this is all i’m gonna say about this atp. I don’t even go here anymore because I personally am a more private person that only recently stopped lurking and almost immediately I no longer feel safe sharing my energy with the wider mcyt community (with the exception of some statesmp and DaD ccs)
