Ugh, tell me about it! I’m not the type to invite people over, and with few of my friends left in town, and no movie in the cinema left to see, I’ve just sat here for 5 days straight, on my ass… but there’s nothing else to do :/

I’m the same, I don’t like inviting people round or being the one to suggest just hanging out so I just wait for other people to do it for me which isn’t really the best.... I hope things pick up for you soon, it’s very rubbish just sitting around all day

Do you have any wise words cause come autumn my mood is increasingly melancholic and I keep thinking I NEED a relationship (even more so than usual) and then everything would be perf cause "I deserve one"/"I'm so lonely" but I'm not(lonely) I have awsome friends that I trust and shouldn't I firstly just learn to love myself (Imean why do people even need another half you're already a whole?!)? and I just wonder how normal ppl handle these kinds of struggles?? (Ranting. Sorry. Noanswerrequired..)

I get like this sometimes!! I think society just constantly enforces the idea that having a relationship is the most important thing in life, everything is about finding a partner and your other half and all that but why?? There’s no reason you can’t live a happy single life and when I think about these things I realise the only reason I get a bit down about never having a romantic relationship is just because I feel left out, not because I actually want one, I’m perfectly fine with just me! We all live different lives and have different experiences and we shouldn’t compare our lives and experiences to other people’s. Like yeah I haven’t had a boyfriend and lots of other people have but I’ve also done things that lots of other people haven’t and I’m sure it’s the same for you! And yes definitely just love yourself and who you are separately before you even bother thinking about a relationship because you should be the most important person to yourself :)
