Alderstar loves him and is his mate

Grousemane loves him and is his mate

Nightfly had a crush on him, which Myrtle played on and developed it into love when he was pretending to be his mate

Berryfreckle saw him exactly once and decided to kill his cousin and his cousin’s mate just for the chance of being with him in the afterlife

Pumkinpatch had a major crush on him before and nearly destroyed Clans because of him

Myrtlewing very obviously doesn’t like him, and if they interact at all, only openly manipulates him or the like for entertainment

Story:

Visited in his dreams by an Aspenroot, Berryfreckle was brought to a dark, shadowy forest. That’s where he saw him. Myrtlewing.

The other tom didn’t see him, but Berryfreckle became obsessed. He continued training with Aspenroot even after finding out that they were in the Dark Forest just so that that tom could see him.

But never once did he seem to be around. 

Berryfreckle decided that when the time comes that he dies, he could try to find Myrtlewing himself.

That’s when it clicked that Myrtlewing was from the Dark Forest, and that Berryfreckle wouldn’t be able to join him unless he did something bad.

He tried to get his Clanmates to leave the camp with him, but they all refused, thinking he was a weirdo-- that’s why Aspenroot decided to train him in the first place. He was the outcast, ignored by everyone.

Everyone but his cousin. Mothers too, but he wasn’t so willing to harm them.

Strikespeckle was nice to him, so Berryfreckle made sure to make it quick. He waited with his body until Flintstalk, Strikespeckle’s mate, came to find him, and killed her too. 

She put up a bit of a fight, giving Berryfreckle some bad nicks. 

He realized too late after burying them that he could have passed it off as an attacking rogue. He was terrified of being confronted if the medicine cat noticed something odd about his scars, so he kept them hidden, even after they began to make him sick.

At least now he could be with Myrtlewing.

That’s what he thought.

Additional Information:

--Aspenroot wanted to help him because his own DF mentor did the same for him.

--Berryfreckle is more the “misunderstood weirdo” not the “creep weirdo.”

--More victims to Myrtle’s count and all he had to do was look good.

--A but rushed because I had the idea and thought it was funny, so hurried to write it.
