2. Favourite part of writing.
Okay, in addition to my last answer for this, genuinely one of my favourite parts of writing is the response. And it's very scattered and unreliable on here but I get so excited when I finish a story to share it with everyone and I have such high hopes for people enjoying it ;-; That anticipation is so, so nice~ And then if people do start to respond positively to it, then it's just like....cloud 9
10. Pick a writer to co-write a book with and tell us what you’d write about.
If I were to pick ANY write at all, then I would choose Helen Oyeyemi because I think her perspectives and her stories are SO interesting but her recent stuff is leaving something to be desired for me. I want to get in there and ground it and bring some of my own style in there to add a lil twist on it or something (not that she needs me to kfhsdkjfda). If I were to choose someone from tumblr....I think maybe @doiefy because the depth and ambience of her fics are great, and I just want to see what sort of fic baby we would create. OR @jungwooisms because the breadth of knowledge and history and amount of detail in her work is phenomenal. Where my writing lacks a lot is in the pre-planning and the research and the depth in that sense, so I would be interested to see what would come out of that. Or @itsapapisongo and we would just create the wildest, dumbest series.
12. How do you deal with self-doubts?
Honestly, I just ignore them. Self-doubt is just a pattern of thought and it doesn't actually have to have any weight or meaning if you don't let it. Ok sure, you think your writing is not that interesting. And? So what? A bunch of people are saying it is so are you going to stop writing just because of one negative thought in your head? Just because you have a thought does not mean you have to listen to it. We are not our thoughts. I know they feel overwhelming sometimes but the more you combat your internal self-doubting thoughts with like...carelessness the easier it becomes. It's a habit. Shifting habits takes time. Self-doubt will always be there but if we always gave into it and never forged ahead regardless, there would be no art in the world at all.
30. Favourite line you’ve ever written.
This is too difficult to answer fhdskfd I like so many things for so many different reasons. I think about this wip a lot, and all the potential inside of it, though:
Allow the wildflowers to take root in my skin, in my heart, in my flesh. To consume me until there is nothing left except soil and bone.
37. Most inspirational quote you’ve ever read or heard that’s still important to you.
Truth be told, I am not much of a quotes person. Not in terms of inspirational quotes or platitudes or anything. They don't do much for me and they tend not to stick in my head for too long lol
