1. Do you prefer traditional drawing, or digital?

I’m actually kind of both? I like starting off with traditional drawing because I feel I have a better control of my hand on paper (than with a tablet). And if I like the piece enough I take it to my computer and use it as my base sketch. Then of course I add the lineart and colors and everything. I wish I could do base sketches with the tablet but I need more practice lmao. And I also feel more comfortable with digital pieces so I can fix all the weird stuff (eye too big, head too diagonal, etc.) that happens with my traditional pieces.

13. Do you prefer to keep your art personal, or do you like drawing things for other people?

I’m always really weird about this because most of the art I post here are gifts for friends. I LOVE drawing things for others to show how much I appreciate them and their ocs. But then I end up in a weird hole where I feel bad when I draw art for myself. Because I think ‘why draw for yourself when you could be drawing for others??’ And I know that’s bad alsdljfa I should get around to drawing more personal art.

21. Do you like to challenge yourself?

A;SLDLFAS ok I really want to say I do, even though it doesn’t look like I do on my blog. I know most of the art pieces on my blog look similar (random girl at ¾ pose with lighting at top left, etc). But that’s because (like I mentioned above) that most of the art I post are gifts for friends. And that’s the only pose I know how to draw well (and I’d feel terrible if I drew ugly art for a friend). But I do try to challenge myself more in my sketchbooks because I try out a lot more poses, lighting styles, etc. Someday I’ll finally post pieces like those when they get out of the ugly phase and become more polished! :>

22. Are you confident that you’re improving steadily?

I’m actually not as confident as I could be in my improvement but I know that I am improving! Just yesterday I was trying to doodle an old art piece I drew last year and was surprised at the level of detail that is so natural to me now (that I know I would have struggled with last year). I don’t know if my improvement is steady (maybe more like random bursts?) but as long as I am improving then I’m happy. xD

I hope you are right ^^ It would just fit into her "fangirl" personality. Of course not all fangirls are like this but I see a shit ton of them being all f-yeah for they gay ships but not liking two girls being together x.x

Yeah, I get what you’re saying. I hope so too... and I kind of want to give them the benefit of the doubt. Judging by how Yeleen reacted to a conversation in ep4, her fangirl personality when it comes to Castiel can get pretty centralised on her alone, believing that she is the only one out of the hundreds other. Which... I think a lot of people feel like, when their favourite artist/musician/writer/etc interacts with them in some way.  

And mmm, I know exactly how some people can be like when it comes down to ships. Sad that some fandoms have fallen to the trap of it, where literally the only content people look for is ship based alone and disregard everything else, to just end up fighting over a relationship that may not even exist. But... that’s a discussion for another day. I’ve been active in fandoms since I was younger than I probably should’ve been, so I’ve seen everything and experienced quite a lot too.

No... I don’t believe that beemoov would write that in, despite everything. I would like to say more to me it felt like she was just genuinely surprised. I think it was handled pretty sloppily, but I would like to think she just didn’t expect that kind of thing, especially not admitted so readily, by Candy, as they do keep each other at arm’s length, even if they share the same living space.

Now Melody’s dialogue was also handled really poorly, as she is also someone who comments on it in regards to Priya. Yeleen isn’t the only one to say something about it, but I feel like her scene is remembered better because it’s actually directed towards the MC/player.

Also we have no substantial evidence to even suggest Yeleen is ‘into’ gay men as opposed to lesbians. The most we can gather about her is that she’s infatuated with Castiel, and depending on your interpretation of him (I read him as bi, but that’s just me), yeah. Sexuality is something that Beemoov have always kind of toed the line with, as they do have something considerably token about their representation, like Alexy and Priya. I do want to believe they want to make a concerted effort to stop making it seem like it’s just to tick the diversity box, but it’s just... clumsily handled. Which is why we end up with dialogues from Yeleen and Melody, two already controversial and relatively disliked characters, just making people stop and go ‘wait what?’

Yes to all of this!!! I really was shoked that Rosa shamed us for not wanting to drink. And this person study psychology...can't believe it lol Anyway the lack of freedom we had to choose the answers in MCL was ok-ish [beside the sex thing in ep40] but in MCLUL it is just unbearable. I feel stressed about every decision and it took away the little fun/joy I had left for this game :(

Yeah... like. Idk. Rosa’s whole character in MCLUL just puts me off a bit. But the game shouldn’t be making it’s players stressed about things, nor taking the fun out of it with stuff like this. It’s not good... for anyone. Like, it hurts people... that’s not what you should want for your audience

yes the art just looks all over the place in MCLUL. I know multiple people work on it but well if they are really professionals then the art shouldn't vary so much :/ Nath and Priya look different on every god damn picture...

I don’t really fault the artists themselves, per say, as it has become quite the norm for games nowadays to have multiple artists with no consistent style (like, FGO for example? They have guest artists all the time)... but there is a serious and noticeable discrepancy between illustrations and even sprites (I’ve seen several people point out the trailer for ep3 as well, with every standing at head height even though Yeleen should be the shortest lmfao). 

I do think there should be some level of consistency, at the bare minimum. Especially in illustrations, as they are like, what are teased by the game as the reward for finishing episodes... y’know. Make them attractive at least.
