Tadpoles of many anuran species come in high numbers, but not many make it to adulthood. Here a group of common toad (Bufo bufo) tadpoles is seen from below.
The picture was taken with a canon G12 camera in a Recsea underwater housing and a Dyron dome port. No flash was used, only natural light. Post-processing, the picture was cropped to the 3:2 format, and changes were made on the levels, contrast and highlight and the saturation.
