IT REALLY seemed like this game was a life-or-death situation to the boy, his tone beseeching as he motioned to the plastic guns on the counter. the flashing graphics on the screen beckoned, and kano put his hands together in a pleading gesture, cocking his head to the side with a sincere(?) grin on his face. how could you say no?
