Bertrand finds himself roped into helping Mariel locate Yipha shortly after retuning to Unigan, and the pair are reunited for the first time since confessing their feelings. Bertrand reassures Yipha that he treasures the real her, not her mask, and avoiding the temple turns into an opportunity for the two to tear down a few more of the barriers still left between them.
