Yui is elated to have a strong female figure to look up to. Aleksi is just so... Sophisticated, shrewd and so knowledgeable about the world and all of its wonders.

Was Yui absolutely terrified when she first met Aleksi when she was dragged to some event in a demon world? Yes. But did she want to get to know Aleksi and be her best friend? Absolutely.

Honestly, when they first met Yui thought that Aleksi would kill her because she stumbled into the older woman and unintentionally ruined Aleksi's designer dress.

Oh boy the look on both of their faces.

One was in a fit of quiet rage, the other apologising profusely and vowing to make it up to her in any way.

"Look, don't worry about it..."

Ever since, Yui has been running around and doing tasks to make it up to Aleksi... Despite Aleksi telling her repeatedly not to do anything.

Yui loves how honest and put together Aleksi is, and that she says things how they are without caring what others will think.

Sometimes Yui gets confused about how she feels about Aleksi, but she doesn't pay much mind to it if she doesn't have to.

Honestly, the two get along surprisingly well considering how different they are in every aspect of their being... But they learn from each other in some ways. Like how Yui is very perceptive of others, and she can easily tell when they're uneasy or upset. Meanwhile Aleksi can tell whether someone has good or bad intentions easily, and they teach each other how to spot these things.

Yui could be doing literally anything and Aleksi would be like "This reminds me of Venice-"

Obviously, our blonde headed friend would have archives of questions as to what happened in Venice.

They always compliment each other, and are always sincere about it.

Aleksi is always very creative with her compliments.

Zorya's origin in human world? I think she's Russian

"Well, I must commend how she sings—er, raps—with confidence. Indeed, she sounds quite powerful, or at least she wants the listener to believe that. I can appreciate how Megan doesn't care what others think of her, whether they like or dislike her since she still has enough self-worth as is. We share that much in common. It's not my cup of tea, but the overall message beyond the strange beat and piano mix could have been worse."

❧ i feel like upon first meeting, virek would become very skeptical of her?? he can’t specifically spot her line of work, but he’s just learned to be pretty perceptive of the people around him— however that would just make him put more effort into creating situations for the two to meet.

❧ from my understanding(?) aleksi is into literature? that’s a quality they share, so virek may make conversation surrounding it. her favourite books, or perhaps even starting philosophical discussions based on one of them.

❧ while they aren’t exactly the same, aleksi and virek are pretty sneaky. (aleksi’s a spy, right—? unless i just can’t read T-T). i can’t think of an exact scenario but i’d like to imagine virek asking aleksi to assist him with something. really milk her talents dry, since she’s conveniently there!

❧ over time, i think the two could learn to get along! or at the very least come to mutual agreements on shared interests :)

how's marion while he's drunk?

-It takes him a good dozen of shots to start feeling tipsy. Even though he doesn't drink regularly, he has a surprising good resistance to alcoholic beverages.

-Scotch ale, champagne, blackcurrant or gentian liqueur, Negroni and gin are his favourites.

-But when he's supposed to be working, he avoids it or limits himself to one drink. even if Aleksi skillfully offers to drink with him, he stays responsible for once

-Nevertheless, Marion is a festive individual, most likely to become the life of the party. He is the hyper type of drunk - always active. Energetic. Impossible for him to sit down even if the world is turning way too fast and the ground feels too far from him.

-Talks with his hands a lot.

-His flirty side comes out more: he makes people blush so easily with smooth and innocent phrasings. If he's with his lover, he kisses them on the cheek every five minutes.

-But he can be as romantic and funny as he wants, when he's drunk, he can also do pretty stupid stuff sometimes and won't remember it the next day.

- @gingerall you totally got him right on this one: when he wakes up in his bed -miraculously-, he might space out for a few minutes. 'I feel like I should remember something important.' 💀

-It could be anything: the cat he found walking back home and that is now sleeping on his couch, an exam he, of course, didn't study for... or even remembering the person he slept with last night. Marion is alone in his bed, except for the faint lingering scent of damask rose and saffron on the pillow next to him.

-And when he finally brings the memories all together, that's when the headache comes around and he just slumps back on his bed with a growl.

-Don't expect him to get up to go to that damn exam though-

First thing first, if he ever spotted his s/o feeling down, they would sit together in order to discuss what's bothering them, what's the issue.

We're here for the communication skills folks.

Lots of eye contacts, holding hands, cupping their face in his hands and brushing away hair and possible tears.

Emotional intimacy and trust are essential to him. The time he shares with them doesn't have to be all about positivity, fun or lust. Love is also sadness, doubt, jealousy, fear and anger.

And Marion would take all the time in the world if it allows him to understand his lover better.

Depending of how deep they are in the relation, he would either know what their partner needs or would ask them how they prefer to handle the situation.

Cuddling? Some time alone? Want to vent about it? Want him to change your mind's off the problem?

Tell him. He will adapt.

He always adapts for others.

He personally prefers to cuddle his partner. Strong arms around their waist, their face nuzzled against his neck and dropping every now and then kisses on their hair. Lovingly caressing their back in silence.

If his s/o was on their period, he would automatically try to massage their burning lower back, their hips or their shoulders, gently swaying their body against his. He grew with two sisters and a mother who has very painful period; so he technically knows what's going on, but you have to tell him exactly what you want and need in that time. He's afraid of making anything silly or that will bother you but he can't stay inactive either.

So that's why he generally opts for calm, affectionate physical touch.

Again emotional intimacy is terribly important but in terms of physical proximity, he can also feel a bit needy. His hands yearn for the feeling of his partner's body between his palms.

But back to his partner's need:

'Ok. I'm going to do some grocery shopping, want anything?'

'Hm…No, I think I'll be fine.'

Marion nods while taking his keys and a bag. '…Do you still have jasmin tea? Are the flowers still fresh? Want me to make an omelette tonight?'
