Great Job ✌🏻 Paul McCartney melhor pessoa!!
I learned to be a George Harrison fan from my mom, but every time Wah Wah would start playing, she immediately skipped the song. Since I have a significantly higher tolerance for electric guitar than she does, I would listen to the song on my own time.
Wah Wah is an angry song that Harrison composed while the Beatles were recording Let It Be at Apple Studios. The sarcastic lyrics speak to Harrison’s frustration with McCartney and Lennon’s inability to recognize his growth as a songwriter, and he wrote the song secretly in his own time, without showing the rest of the band.
Wah-wah You've given me a wah-wah And I'm thinking of you And all the things that we used to do You made me such a big star Being there at the right time Cheaper than a dime Wah-wah, you've given me your wah-wah, wah-wah
There is plenty more to read concerning the tensions within the band at the time, but Wah Wah feels like the truest way to experience those feelings.
Concerning the recording, Harrison was not pleased with the way Phil Spector produced the track, calling the production “horrible”. So my mom might be right to skip the track.
Happy Birthday Sir Paul! <3 simply the best! 👏
