Guy stood behind the bar, polishing some glassware before hanging it back up in place over his head. It was the quieter part of the day, between lunch and dinner and the kitchen staff and one waitress on duty were having no trouble serving the few groups of customers at the Big W during the lull.  It was a good time to chill out, connect with his regulars as they drifted in over the next several hours, and catch up on some of the more mundane chores around the place.

Or, it would have been, had he not suddenly been distracted by the lovely brunette that had just graced the bar's entrance.  He'd couldn't quite recall having seen this particular Green Lantern before, but he must have, because there was something familiar about her. Perhaps his eyes had passed over her in the chaos of battle, or in a Corps meeting, or...

It didn't matter. She was hot, and she was in his bar, and he wasn't going to let her slip away again without making every attempt to get to know better: much, much, better.

"Well, hellooo, Gorgeous," he started off, giving her an appraising and well-pleased look that wasn't quite a leer, "I haven't seen you in here before. I have a rule, lovely ladies who improve the scenery as much as you're doing right now get a drink on their first visit free. What can I get you?"
