Firenze,🚩Villa Medici di Castello.🇺🇸🇦🇺🇬🇧It’s a kind of magic and we couldn’t miss it. Yesterday two out of three fountains of the gardens worked again, twice a day and for 10 minutes only. This is the fountain of Hercules and Antaeus designed by Niccolò Tribolo and casted by Niccolò Ammannati. Everyone of us was really amazed by this “little big thing” making people understand the importance and positive social aspect of beautiful things. I do believe that beauty could really save our world. Being amazed by something is always positive. In add...the villa was initially owned by the cadet branch of the Medici family, the Primavera and the Birth of Venus by Sandro Botticelli (today at the Uffizi gallery) were painted for this villa and Cosimo I grew up here, owned and deeply loved it.
