I was asked in my favorite bullet journal group which pen I like best for writing as a left-handed person. The Sharpie S-gel is a hot trend right now- and with that beautiful, dark, smooth ink, and the fact that it's a gel pen that doesn't smudge or smear, it's easy to see why! But for lefties like me who hold the pen at an extreme angle, the ink skipping is awful. 😭😥 A basic Staples ballpoint pen is slightly better, but the medium point writes almost like a fine point. The pen I reach for the most is the Staples Aura ballpoint. Still a little light for a medium point, but the writing is smooth and almost never skips. 🥰 All 3 are great for lefties who don't turn their hand upside down, but drag it across the paper when writing instead!
