When a new Alpha arrives at the reservation and decides he doesn’t want someone like Jared - a widowed Omega - to be a part of his pack and he locks him away in a silver coated prison. It’s only when other members of the pack find out of Jared’s incarceration, after being told by the new Alpha that he’d been killed, that they decide they need to get Jared away from the pack before the Alpha decides to make his lie a reality. But when Jared - literally - runs into a beautiful, green-eyed stranger, there’s suddenly a spark of hope on the horizon…if only they can convince Jensen of his true heritage and birthright as the Alpha of the Black Foot pack. Keep on Yearning by Teot on A03 via the Wayback Machine. Jared/Jensen. J2 Non-AU-ish. Every member of the lore knows that shifters only mate with other shifters. When Jensen meets Jared, someone disconcertingly human, he reacts as if his body were on fire. But Jensen refuses to believe that Jared is his true mate. He’s already in a committed relationship with Danneel and Jared is engaged to his girlfriend Sandy. Factor in Jensen’s responsibilities as Prince and the rebellion he’d have on his hands if he chose a human for a mate, and any relationship with Jared should be dead on arrival. But the wolf in him doesn’t care about politics or existing relationships; it wants Jared, human or not. Caged Heat by insertcode11. Jared/Jensen. J2 AU. Two years ago humans killed Jensen’s two little brothers and forcibly recruited Jensen as the star of their underground cage fighting ring. People come from miles and pay a fortune to see the elusive alpha werewolf–the “freak”–fight and be tormented by his captors. Jensen could escape but he stays, punishing himself and seeking redemption in death. One night when the odds are stacked up against him his captors bring extra “incentive” for a prize–a recently captured beta wolf. The wolf’s name is Jared, and he’s in heat. The author deleted her account but allows her work to be shared. The link is a zip file that contains the story along with many others.

Now, he walks with a severe limp in human form, and cannot run and hunt with the other wolves in his pack. He long ago accepted that he would never mate or have a family of his own. When the pack’s alpha dies without an heir, distant alpha relatives come in from out of town to compete for the title of pack alpha. One of them is Jensen Ackles. When he sees sweet, dimpled Jared, he falls hard, but Jared knows his place well. He gently brushes off all of Jensen’s attempts to woo him, reminding Jensen that he owes the pack a strong, healthy mate, not a gimpy omega. Jensen makes it his mission to convince Jared that he’s the perfect mate for the pack alpha, and that he’s worthy of everything. (warning: mpreg)

Jared Padalecki is an omega in an alpha’s world, making a name for himself as a tattoo artist and fighting for respect and recognition. Sure, his boss is a jerk and his apartment is a craphole, but he’s doing what he wanted. Right up until his co-workers start dropping dead and he meets his mate. (warning: mpreg)
Like A Bee on a Window by ashtraythief on A03. Jared/Jensen. J2 AU. Omegas are kept by Alpha/Beta couples to keep house and bear children. Jared was raised in a liberal family with only his alpha father and an omega mother, who were equals in their relationship, but they died when Jared was sixteen. Jared is placed with an alpha/beta couple but when he gets pregnant it’s the last straw to help him gather the courage to escape from his abusive alpha. Mated Omegas bond with their Alpha on a biological level, so completely that their body resists sexual advances from anyone else. Repeated knotting can make an Omega’s body accept a new Alpha, but the new mating bond overwrites the old one, erasing it not just from an Omega’s body, but from their mind as well.Jared wakes with a headache and a memory full of holes. He’s been kidnaped, drugged, and is about to be sold to the highest bidder.
The Thaw by meus_venator on A03. Jared/Jensen. J2 AU. Federal Marshal Jensen Ackles of the Hunter Division was the best tracker the department had on the west coast. Having watched his entire family be slaughtered by a wolf pack as a child, Jensen dedicated himself to becoming a hunter. Under his watch no one would ever suffer as he had, and renegade werewolves would be brought to justice and shipped back to the rez where they belonged. When a call came in about a were sighting in the sleepy town of Munter’s Gorge, Montana, Jensen thought he’d be home in no time. He’s working as TA for Dr. Omundson, head of Knox University’s archeology department, while he finishes his Master’s degree. Jared jumped at the chance to join the dig, but omegas in Rirajistan are rigidly traditional, so Jared agrees to wear Omundson’s collar while in-country.
