Originally debuting in the 1950’s, she was used as a “fun way to teach young girls how to be the perfect housewife” even thou looking back on it, it was really a product of the times & stereotypical..bcause… y’know. Its the 50s!
She was quickly discontinued, but brought back w/ a new design in the 60s and used as an actual educational mascot. ((Thank u J*m H! ))
If she was treated better be her creators (or made at a later date), i’d specualte she’d end up more like Celia from The Help. She’d be more fun and outgoing instead of creepy & toxically devoted to Beta Wally.
