MK and Bai He were walking the hallways of the stone palace, once again arguing which was better sorbet or cream based ice cream.
MK (😠): Cream has a richer flavor and a smoother texture!!
Bai He (😠): With something like vanilla or chocolate maybe, but with fruit flavors the cream overwrites the flavor. Not to mention cream based can’t be refrozen without changing the texture and subsequently the flavor, but you can refreeze sorbets without issue.
MK (😠): Who would refreeze ice cream after it thaws!!!!
Bai He (😒): Only a maniac, but my point was that on a very hot day any pints of ice cream you buy would melt. With cream you’re just left with a half made milkshake, but with a sorbet you can salvage it.
(MK and Bai He continue to argue as they walk into the kitchen, only to come face to face with their Mama and Baba making out heavily)
(Wukong and Macaque suddenly pull apart once they noticed their kids presence)
MK (😳): Sorry, don’t mind us, we’re leaving.
Bai He (🫣): Forget we were here.
(The two rush out of the kitchen leaving their parents flustered)
Macaque (😒😓): Well that was awkward.
Wukong (😣): Plum!!!!!
Macaque (😒😠): Oh don’t start with me peaches, I genuinely didn’t hear them coming, you think I wanted our cubs to see us getting frisky!!

Macaque asking the marshmallow duo if they’re afraid of him?
It was a quiet evening on flower fruit mountain.
Macaque stood in the living room, watching MK and Bai He play with Kitty.
Normally a scene like this would make him smile, but for some reason all he could think about was how he hurt both of them in the past.
Bai He by not attempting to save her from LBD and MK in so many ways both big and small.
He wondered if some part of his children was afraid of him.
As much as he’d rather avoid the answer, he was determined to help his cubs feel at ease.
Macaque: Hey kiddo, kitten
Bai He (🙂): Yes Mama.
MK (😁): What’s up?
Macaque: Can I ask you both something?
MK and Bai He (😊): Of course.
Macaque (shifting his eyes avoiding theirs): Are you two afraid of me, because of the things I did to you in the past?
Bai He (☺️): What kind of silly question is that Mama, of course we’re not afraid of you.
MK (😁): Yeah, we wouldn’t call you Mama, or cuddle pile with you, or train with you, or any of the other things we do with you if we were scared of you.
Macaque (stunned): Even after everything I did!?
MK (😌): You’ve long since made up for it.
Bai He: (nods in agreement)
Macaque (😌): Thanks cubs.

The sun fam celebrating Mother’s Day
The sun was peaking in through the blinds.
Macaque and Nüwa were asleep, curled up in bed.
Macaque woke up to the sound of careful footsteps.
He nudged Nüwa awake, just in time to hear a knock at the bedroom door.
Wukong slowly comes into the room followed by their kids.
Wukong (😊): Morning Plum, morning mango.
Rumble, Savage, MK, Bai He (😊): Happy Mother’s Day.
(The kids climbed into bed and cuddled with their moms just as Wukong placed the breakfast tray on the bed)
Wukong (😏): And before either of you ask, none of this is hair food. Also, we will be handling everything today, all you two have to do is relax.

It was a bright sunny day in Megopolis.
Wukong, Macaque, Nüwa, Tang and Pigsy were sitting in Pigsy’s with a batch of Sandy’s special tea between them.

The three monkeys were exploring a deep cavern under the mountain.
When suddenly the ground around them began to shake resulting in Macaque falling into a deep pitch black hole.
MK (😱): Holy stars, Mama are you ok!!!
Macaque (😒): I’m not injured.
MK (😣): Of all the days to leave my staff in the palace!!!! Mama do you see anything around you that we could use to get you out!!!
Macaque (😒): Oh look a grappling hook, and here’s an escalator, silly me.
MK (😠): Mama, now is not the time to be sarcastic, we need to get you out of there!! (🤨) Wait a minute, why hasn’t he just teleported out of there?
Wukong (😒): Unfortunately he can’t because he’s in absolute darkness.
MK: 🤨
Wukong: Macaque needs shadows to use his powers, shadows need light to exist, and in absolute darkness there is no light, and therefore no shadows.
MK (😣): So how are we supposed to get Mama out!!
Wukong (😌): Relax bud, this is an easy fix.
(Without warning Wukong jumped down the hole, before MK could say anything he saw a bright light and moments later a shadow portal appeared and from it emerged Wukong and Macaque)
MK (🤩): Mama!!! You’re ok!!
Macaque (😏): Yeah, yeah I’m alright. Now let’s get out of here before something else happens.
Wukong and MK (🫡): Yes sir!!

Wukong and Macaque sat in the fields across a mountain.
They had various paints surrounding them.
Macaque: You sure this is the spot for this.
Wukong: Yeah, good lighting, good protection from weather damage, and any of the little suns can enjoy it when they come down this path.
Macaque (😏): Alright if you’re so sure.

(Just as they were adding the finishing touches, a shadow portal opened from above and out dropped their kids, who successfully tackled them into a hug)

Wukong was flying back home with Kitty in hand.
The cat was meowing nervously in its cage, due to being so high up.
Wukong (🙂): It’s ok Kitty, we’re almost home.
(Wukong was slightly confused, normally Macaque and Bai He take Kitty to the vet, but today they were insistent on getting him out of the house for some reason)
(Wukong walked through the door and was caught off guard)

Wukong (😊): This was an amazing surprise guys. I’m surprised you’re here bud, I would’ve thought you’d spend a day like this with Pigsy.
MK (😁): Oh don’t worry my other dads already got their gifts. Pigsy is currently foraging rare vegetables on the mountain. Tang is interviewing Xiwangmu. And Sandy is currently drinking tea grown in Auntie Guanyin’s garden.
Macaque (😏): Alrighty now we’ve still got cake and presents to get to.
