Yeji thinks about that night a lot more than she'd like to admit.
The five of them, cramped into a too small karaoke booth, shoulders bumping against the walls and each other. In her memories it's never claustrophobic. The TV screen's glare is never too bright. The speakers aren't too loud. She isn't embarrassingly conscious of just how close Ryujin is to her, or how nice it felt when she gently grabs Yeji's wrist before snatching away the karaoke machine's remote with a smirk. There's only the songs they sang, the fun they had. And then, after — parted lips, glazed eyes, fingers curled in Yeji's hair, beautiful tremors wracking her body as Yeji held onto her.
She thinks about it. A lot. But never this much, never like she's really there again, touching her, kissing her. Never like she can feel her soul slipping from her body and Ryujin's voice is all there is to anchor her.
