I’d like more theory also, but I don’t need someone to stand up and tell us that their lesson is an example of embodied cognition or to cite von Glasersfeld or whatever. What I need to know is where they’re coming from. What they look for in a good lesson. What makes a good lesson good for them. What would make their good lesson bad. That’s the kind of theory I need – a personal, theoretical framework.

1. day at betacamp
Already here in Berlin at betacamp, very exciting assignment we have to do.. Our task is to create a digital concept, that will make women at the age of 35-65 be more intrigued and intersted in Copenhagen. Each group have a location that they need to focus on, meaning that the we need to intrgued the people from a specific location to come to Copenhagen or be more facinated about Copenhagen.. My group got Hamborg .. We did a bit of brainstorm eventhough it was a bit hard, because we all were a bit tired from the loong (7 hours of traveling) trip... But i think we have something good .. something really good :) After our little brainstorm we went for a nightwalk, we ended up at a restuarant called "que pasa".. I've been there once, the last time i went to Berlin, it is a very cool and cosy place, with very chea drinks ;) Tomorrow, the real day starts, we have to do some interviews and more research about our tawrget group, and getting to know them better regarding travling and also their needs went they do travel or take a city break.. I cant wait to see how the day will turn out and what kind of concept we will create :) Its been a while since I was here in Berlin the last time, I love this city.. I love that alot of places are open at 12 o'clock at night,, and that there are people in the street who are happy ... it is a bit weird compared to CPH.. but i love it :) Lets see what tomorrow brings // Cindy
Pre BetaCamp
I was invited to join 25 other people in a workshop called "BetaCamp" which is provided by HK/Samdata..The BetaCamp is an offer for young, ambitious members of HK/Samdata, where they get the opportunity to be creative and challenged in a international and creative environment.
The BetaCamp is free :) and we are invited to go to Berlin and create a concept or an idea for wonderful Copenhagen
So yesterday i went to the pre-betaCamp in Odense - Brandts. An very exciting day with 3 great speakers.
Tine Thygesen, CEO from Everplaces - "dream - build - scale"
Rasmus Visby, entrepreneurial
Claus Dahl, software developer and host at Demodag
We got divided on to groups of 5 people. I was very curious about who I was going to be put into a group with. Well, we are 3 girls and 2 guys, I think it is a good group. It seems that we all have different competence and can complement each other in the different skill.
Lunch was really good, we eat at "café biografen". Very nice buffet, with different things to chose between.
After lunch we meet Emil Spangenberg from VIBE / Wonderful Copenhagen. He gave us a small brief about Wonderful Copenhagen and talked about "city breaks" (a new word i learned) and very little explained what our task at hand would be..
We didn't get any information about the task we are going to do in Berlin, but the overall picture will be about City Experiences.
After that we got together in our group and brainstorm about culture, architecture, events, design, eat & drink and one more thing.. it was quite fun.
The day ended with a small brief and practical information about our trip to Berlin..
All in all it was a really good with new people to meet and an exciting task in Berlin... I cant wait the April the 19 .. Berlin here i come :)
