Jesus Walks on Water
Bonjour, everyone! I am Andrew, and I just finished my dinner. I am here once again to share you another miracle of Jesus - Jesus Walks on Water. This miracle is right after the miracle of Feeding Five Thousand people. I hope you enjoy reading it.
Immediately after this, Jesus insisted that me and others disciples get back into the boat and head across the lake to Bethsiada, while he sent the people home. After telling the huge crowds of people good-bye, he went up into the hills by himself to pray.
Late that night, we are in the boat in the middle of the lake, and Jesus was alone on land. He saw that we were in serious trouble, rowing hard and strugling against the wind and waves.
I said to the other disciples, ‘‘Oh no, we were in serious trouble, the wind and waves is too strong!’’
About three o’clock in the morning, we saw Jesus came toward us, walking on the water. He intended to go past us, but when we saw him walking on the water, we cried out in terror, thinking he was a ghost. We were all terrified when we saw him.
But Jesus spoke to us at once. ‘‘Don’t be afraid. Take courage! I am here!’’ he said. Then, he climbed into the boat, and the wind stopped. We were totally amazed, for we still didn’t understand the significance of the miracle of the loaves. Our hearts were too hard to take it in.
‘‘Wow, it is a miracle. It is hard to believe that Jesus walk on the water. At the time when he climbed into the boat, the wind stopped. Such a miracle!’’ I said.
After we had crossed the lake, we landed at Gennesaret. We brought the boat to shore and climbed out. The people recognized Jesus at once, and they ran throughout the whole area, carrying sick people on mats to wherever they heard he was. Wherever Jesus went - in villages, cities, or the countryside - they brought the sick out to the market-places. They begged him to let the sick touch at least the fringe of his robe, and all who touched him were healed. I was very suprised to see all that happens.
I have to end the post now. Thank you for spending time to read my post. I hope you enjoy your day. I will sent more post later, please read. Have a good time, bye!
