Hardison stares at Parker as she announces it, takes half a second to consider and—yeah, nope, that’s definitely worse than the alternative. He makes the bold move of stepping into Parker’s one-woman warpath, hands outstretched to impede her.
“Okay, you know I’m on your side by default. Team Parker, woo!” He waves an imaginary little flag in one empty hand. “And you know I love a good revenge story. But have you considered, maybe—telling me who we out here gettin’ even with? Knowledge is power, etcetera, etcetera. Plus, I need to know whether to pack to take down a multi-national corporation or like, some dude who shorted you on change.”
