A better mouse🐁trap :-) Caught a very cute tawny field mouse last night... A number of accesses in the house foundation and now insulated garage (soon to be revealed as the new "play room"!) have recently been closed up so we have noticed a bit of mousey activity... I like to make sure they're comfortable overnight. Then they're exiled with a stern warning... #innovation #bettermousetrap #industrialdesign Set up on a 12x12 inch slate tile with a wire colander... The colander is constrained at four sides. A pot top adds enough mass that they can't sneak under... Old roller pen sits under compression on a cracker fragment with dollop of apple butter. (or nut butter) When mousey nibbles on the bait, the pen slides back and the trap drops instantly... A room with a panoptic view. Kombucha not included.
